In southwest Florida, Coastal CollierCounty, Inland Collier County and Mainland Monroe.* WHEN...Through this evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers arepossible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Rainfall amounts of 8 to 14 inches with isolated amounts upto 20 inches have fallen over portions of South Florida sinceTuesday morning. Additional amounts of 2 to 4 inches ofrainfall are forecast through Friday with locally higheramounts possible. Marine Weather Statement issued June 14 at 1:55PM EDT by NWS Miami FLThe areas affected include...Biscayne Bay...Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20NM...Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NMexcluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60NM...At 155 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capableof producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms werelocated along a line extending from near Jupiter Inlet to LighthousePoint to Hallandale to Triumph Reef, moving northeast at 15 knots.Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higherwaves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seeksafe harbor immediately until these storms pass.Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert incase warnings are issued for waterspout development.
