Flood Advisory issued June 8 at 1:42AM CDT until June 8 at 4:45AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of northeast Kansas, including the followingcounties, Atchison and Leavenworth.* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Overflowing poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 142 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This will cause urban and small streamflooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expectedover the area.
