Flood Advisory issued May 26 at 1:56AM CDT until May 26 at 3:00AM CDT by NWS Topeka KS* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of north central Kansas, including the followingcounties, Clay, Cloud and Ottawa.* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 155 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This will cause urban and small streamflooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Miltonvale, Delphos, Oak Hill, Ada and Idana.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
