Flood Advisory issued May 25 at 9:29PM CDT until May 26 at 3:30AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of north central Kansas, including the followingcounties, Jewell and Mitchell.* WHEN...Until 330 AM CDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 926 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rainhave fallen. In addition, a spotter reported shallow waterflowing over Highway 14 north of Beloit around 920 PM CDT.- This includes the following streams and drainages...Turkey Creek, Limestone Creek, Browns Creek, West AsherCreek, Disappointment Creek, Little Cheyenne Creek, WestMarsh Creek, Frog Creek, Mulberry Creek, Little Walnut Creek,Solomon River, Dry Creek, Buffalo Creek, East Asher Creek andPlum Creek.Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area.
