Flood Warning issued May 25 at 8:23PM CDT until May 26 at 12:30AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of South Central Kansas, including the followingcounty, Sedgwick.* WHEN...Until 1230 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations in Wichita is imminent or occurring.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 823 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the warned area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Wichita, Derby, Haysville, Bel Aire, Maize, Downtown Wichita,Eastborough, South Wichita, Mcconnell Air Force Base, EastWichita, Eisenhower National Airport, West Wichita, NortheastWichita, Oaklawn and Jabara Airport.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
