Localized higheramounts up to 5 inches were observed. Another round of veryheavy rain is expected with severe thunderstorms through thisevening. This likely will lead to additional rainfall amountsof 1 to 3 inches, with localized higher amounts possible.This will lead to a heightened flash flooding concern,especially in those areas that already received flooding thismorning. Between 1 and 3 inches ofrain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches arepossible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poordrainage and low-lying areas.Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Cadiz, Elkton, Fort Campbell, WranglersCampground, Energy Lake Campground, Woodlands Nature Station,Cravens Bay Campground, Land Between The Lakes Area, Clarksville,Guthrie, Pembroke, Cobb, Canton, Rockcastle, Trenton, Lafayette,Herndon and Allegre.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
