Localized higheramounts up to 5 inches were observed. Another round of veryheavy rain is expected with severe thunderstorms through thisevening. This likely will lead to additional rainfall amountsof 1 to 3 inches, with localized higher amounts possible.This will lead to a heightened flash flooding concern,especially in those areas that already received flooding thismorning. Between 1 and 1.5 inches ofrain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches arepossible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expectedto begin shortly.HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.SOURCE...Radar.IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urbanareas, highways, streets and underpasses as well asother poor drainage and low-lying areas.* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...Evansville, Henderson, Mount Vernon, Corydon, Robards andHebbardsville.For locations that also have a tornado warning issued, seek shelterin an interior room at the lowest level unless absolutely necessaryto avoid flooding.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
