Flood Warning issued June 5 at 2:04PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inOklahoma...Texas...Arkansas...Red River Near Dekalb affecting Bowie, Little River, Red Riverand McCurtain Counties.For the Red River...including Dekalb...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Red River near Dekalb.* WHEN...From Friday afternoon until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding and bank erosion.Ranchers should move livestock next to the river to higher ground.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 21.8 feet.- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.- Forecast...The river will rise to 23.0 feet early tomorrowafternoon. It will then fall to 22.9 feet tomorrow evening.It will rise above flood stage early Friday afternoon to 25.5feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall again butremain above flood stage.- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of25.4 feet on 06/09/2021.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodDo not drive cars through flooded areas.Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
