Flood Advisory issued June 22 at 11:51AM CDT until June 23 at 11:45AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall Friday night.* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Nebraska, includingthe following counties, in east central Nebraska, Butler. Innortheast Nebraska, Platte.* WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Some low-water crossings may become impassable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1150 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain inthe advisory area due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poordrainage areas have already caused minor flooding in theadvisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Columbus, Duncan, Monroe, Lake Oconee and Camp Pawnee.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
