Since this is the firstheat event of the summer season, many people are not yetacclimatized to heat and may be impacted more than normal.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...These are potentially record setting highsfor the date, and unusually early to be close to 100 degrees. Theaverage first 100 degrees for Reno is not until July 11th.Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out ofthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
