Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety andHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks inshaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heatshould be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is anemergency! Call 9 1 1.

Thisreplaces the earlier Flood Warning.* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Dakota, including thefollowing counties, Bon Homme, Clay, Davison, Hanson, Hutchinson,McCook, Turner and Yankton.* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT Monday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations continues. Numerous roads remain closeddue to flooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 943 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding fromearlier heavy rain continues. Between 3 and 9 inches of rainhave fallen.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Mitchell, Parkston, Parker, Lake Vermillion State RecreationArea, Salem, Freeman, Scotland, Marion, Canistota,Alexandria, Menno, Bridgewater, Montrose, Emery, Irene,Ethan, Mayfield, Kaylor, Monroe and Spencer In McCook County.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
