Flood Advisory issued June 11 at 8:32AM CDT until June 11 at 10:30AM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the followingcounties, Callahan, Fisher, Jones, Nolan, Shackelford, Taylor andThrockmorton.* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 830 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms...from Woodson to Albany to Abilene to BuffaloGap...moving east at 30 mph. This will cause urban and smallstream flooding. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain havefallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Abilene, Sweetwater, Clyde, Stamford, Anson, Hamlin, Albany,Baird, Roscoe, Throckmorton, Blackwell, Nolan, Merkel, Rotan,Tye, Cross Plains, Tuscola, Roby, Hawley and Buffalo Gap.- This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 230 and 323.This includes the following Low Water Crossings...Butternut Underpass, Intersections along Sammons Street, I-20Frontage Roads near Baird, Intersections along ButtonwillowParkway, SH 70 crossing The Draw Southeast of Rotan, CurryLane from Clack Street to Catclaw Drive, US 180 crossing 7miles west of Roby, I-20 Frontage Roads west of Clyde, I-20Frontage Roads near Putnam and Texas Avenue at ArnoldBoulevard.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
