Red Flag Warning issued June 22 at 7:58PM PDT until June 23 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA...DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS SUNDAY....A strong dry cold front on Sunday will produce gusty winds andlow relative humidity.The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red FlagWarning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effectfrom 1 PM to 8 PM PDT Sunday.* Affected Area: Fire Weather Zone 703 Okanogan Valley (Zone703), Fire Weather Zone 705 Foothills of Central WashingtonCascades (Zone 705) and Fire Weather Zone 706 WatervillePlateau (Zone 706).* Winds: West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.* Relative Humidities: 12 to 22 percent.* Impacts: Any new or existing fires will have the potential tospread rapidly.A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditionsare either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination ofstrong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures cancontribute to extreme fire behavior.
