Hydrologic Outlook issued May 21 at 8:20AM MDT by NWS Denver COESFBOUExpect higher than normal flows along Cherry Creek downstream ofCherry Creek Reservoir on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 due to annualsediment flushing operations. The release operations may cause minorflooding of low-level crossing and access points including bikepaths.The operations will start around 9 am and last until 2 pm with thewater taking an estimated 6 hours to reach the Champa bridgedownstream. Dam operations will return to normal after the flush.
