Flood Warning issued May 16 at 8:49AM EDT until May 16 at 11:45AM EDT by NWS Boston/Norton MA* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, including the followingcounty, Windham and Rhode Island, including the followingcounties, Kent, Newport, Providence and Washington.* WHEN...Until 1145 AM EDT.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streamscontinue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not bepassable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 848 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
