Boats could suffer significant structuraldamage in high winds and hail. Small craft could capsizein suddenly higher waves.* Locations impacted include...Sunny Isles, Key Biscayne, Hallandale, Cape Florida, Virginia Key,Bay Harbor Islands, Port Everglades, Miami Beach, Bal Harbour,Golden Beach, Surfside, North Bay Village, Indian Creek, Hollywood,and Fort Lauderdale.Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, large hail, high waves, dangerouslightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easilyoverturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harborimmediately.Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. Flood Advisory issued May 21 at 4:57PM EDT until May 21 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Miami FL* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the followingcounty, Miami-Dade.* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas isoccurring or is imminent.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 456 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This is causing urban and small streamflooding including reports of flooded roadways north ofdowntown Miami. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area.
