Flood Warning issued May 17 at 12:22PM MDT until May 25 at 3:00AM MDT by NWS Pocatello ID...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho...Portneuf River at Pocatello affecting Bannock County..Warm temperatures will melt high mountain snowpack and keep riverflows elevated, though overall river flow is slightly decreasing dueto a diminishing snowpack.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Portneuf River at Pocatello.* WHEN...Until Saturday, May 25.* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Water will encroach onto portions of thebike and walking trail next to the river in Sacajawea Park inPocatello.At 8.5 feet, Sections of Sacajawea Park will be under water andthe trail is usually closed at this level. Marsh Creek near Inkommay also be over its banks.At 9.2 feet, Flooding of low lying agricultural land and pasturewill occur in the Inkom and Blackrock area.
