Flood Warning issued May 17 at 11:50AM EDT until May 19 at 12:40AM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...Youngs Creek at Amity....The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers inIndiana...White River at Spencer.White River at Edwardsport.White River at Elliston.White River at Newberry.White River at Petersburg..Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall this week have produced enoughrunoff to bring minor flooding to Youngs Creek at Amity and thelower White from Spencer downstream to Petersburg over the next fewdays. The crest on the White is near Centerton late Friday morningand should reach Spencer by Saturday morning and Petersburg onMonday. Additional rainfall this weekend and next week could bothlengthen the amount of time in flood as well as bump crests higher,so people with interests along area rivers should monitor updatedforecasts and warnings.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...White River at Spencer.* WHEN...From this morning to early Sunday morning.* IMPACTS...At 15.5 feet, Gosport Road, also known as County LineRoad in Owen County, begins to flood on north side of river.Romona Road west of Gosport begins to flood. Flooding of lowagricultural land is noticeable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 11:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 14.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.9feet just after midnight tonight.
