Any landspouts which develop are expected to pose alimited threat.Locations impacted include...Garden City, Liberal, Ulysses, Hugoton, Scott City, Lakin, Elkhart,Holcomb, Syracuse, Johnson City, Sublette, Satanta, Deerfield,Kismet, Rolla, Moscow, Manter, Coolidge, Kendall, and Richfield.Landspout tornadoes can form with a developing thunderstorm beforerain, hail, and even thunder is observed. Landspout tornadoes are notusually associated with a wall cloud and are often difficult todetect with weather radar.
