In southeast Kentucky,Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Leslie, Letcher and Perry.* WHEN...Until 445 AM EDT Thursday.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 943 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms has fallen. Minor flooding is ongoing orexpected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and3 inches of rain have fallen today.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expectedover the area from additional rounds of showers andthunderstorms into the overnight hours. This additional rainwill result in minor flooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...London, Williamsburg, Hazard, Barbourville, Harlan,Pineville, Manchester, Hyden, Middlesboro, Whitley City,Letcher, Cumberland, Loyall, Evarts, Lynch, Benham, Vicco,Wallins Creek, Blackey and Salt Gum.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
