Flood Warning issued May 9 at 10:14AM CDT until May 9 at 4:15PM CDT by NWS Louisville KY* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.* WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including thefollowing county, Simpson.* WHEN...Until 415 PM CDT Thursday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roadsremain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due toexcess runoff from earlier rainfall. Some county highways are alsoexperiencing travel impacts.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1014 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding inthe warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and6 inches of rain have fallen.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Franklin, Salmons, Peden Mill, Turnertown, Schweizer, Geddes,Neosheo, Black Jack, Hillsdale and South Union.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
