Red Flag Warning issued June 13 at 8:48AM AKDT until June 14 at 8:00PM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM AKDT Sunday. * AFFECTED AREA...Yukon Flats. * TIMING...From noon to 8 PM AKDT Sunday. * WINDS...Southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 25 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Highs in the lower 80s. * IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are possible due to a combination of low relative humidity, gusty winds from the south, and dry fuels. A Red Flag Warning means that conditions are occurring or will occur which could lead to the development of large and dangerous fires. It is directed toward fire agencies, and through them, to the public. Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the field of this Red Flag Warning.
