Surf will be highest onwest- facing beaches.* WHERE...Catalina and Santa Barbara Islands, Ventura CountyBeaches, Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches.* WHEN...Until 10 AM PDT Saturday.* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Ripcurrents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Largebreaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches androcks, and capsize small boats near shore.Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or staynear occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadlylocations in such conditions, so stay off the rocks.
