Visibilities may drop below 1/4mile due to falling and blowing snow. The strong winds and weightof snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could causesporadic power outages. Travel could be very difficult. Verystrong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Those traveling over higher Sierra passes andrecreating in the Sierra back country should be prepared for lateseason wintry conditions at times overnight Saturday into earlySunday morning.If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water inyour vehicle in case of an emergency.
