For the High Wind Warning,north winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.* WHERE...Santa Barbara County Southeastern Coast and Santa YnezMountains Eastern Range.* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, until 11 AM PDT Sunday. For theHeat Advisory, until 8 PM PDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especiallyfor drivers of high profile vehicles. High temperatures may causeheat illnesses, including heat stroke.In very windy conditions, watch for falling debris and tree limbs.Use extra caution if you must drive.In the heat, drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids, stay in anair-conditioned room if possible, stay out of the sun, and check upon relatives and neighbors.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities. Take actionwhen you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Anyoneovercome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heatstroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.
