Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Salt Creek at Barnard. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, The North 250th Road by the Salt Creek Bridge will have water over the road in the section about 1/2 block north of the bridge where the road bends. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 14.3 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
