Flood Advisory issued June 19 at 12:16AM CDT until June 19 at 4:15AM CDT by NWS Topeka KS* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of northeast Kansas, including the followingcounty, Brown.* WHEN...Until 415 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1215 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This will cause urban and small streamflooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Hiawatha, Sabetha, Fairview, Robinson, Morrill, Reserve,Powhattan and Hamlin.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
