Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 21 at 10:43PM EDT until September 22 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Sunday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint GeorgeIsland, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To theeast, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St.Mary's River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 4:46 AM and5:52 PM. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 6:44 AM and7:01 PM. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 6:08 AM and6:25 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
