Flooding up to one footdeep affects coastal roads on the North Shore from Salem toGloucester and Newburyport. Rough surf will cause flooding onsome coastal roads around the time of high tide due tosplashover. Roads remain passable. Low lying areas and roadsnear Nantucket Harbor, including Easy Street, may experiencepockets of shallow flooding less than one foot deep. Roadsremain passable. Shallow pockets of flooding less than onefoot deep affect low lying areas in Provincetown, mainly nearthe airport and Race Point Road. In Truro, flooding up to onefoot deep affects low lying areas near Pamet Harbor and alongthe Pamet River. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions andlocalized beach erosion.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due todangerous surf conditions.
