Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 6 at 10:30PM CDT until July 6 at 10:45PM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD At 1030 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Clinton to over Bonanza Grove, or along a line from near Clinton to 8 miles east of Wilmot, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near... Clinton, Lismore Colony, Bonanza Grove, Big Stone Colony, Corona, Graceville, Johnson and Yankeetown around 1035 PM CDT. Lagoona Beach, Ortonville and Big Stone City around 1040 PM CDT. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.
