In northeast Minnesota, Carlton and St. Louis Counties.* WHEN...Until 1045 PM CDT Tuesday.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas isoccurring or is imminent.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 933 PM CDT Tuesday, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain dueto thunderstorms. Rapid river rises have already caused minorflooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches ofrain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected overthe area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Cloquet, Mille Lacs Lake, Hermantown, Sandstone, Moose Lake,Carlton, Barnum, Mahtowa, Willow River, Wrenshall, Askov,Malmo, Rutledge, Holyoke, Kettle River, Bruno, McGrath, MooseLake State Park, Banning State Park and Nemadji.- Flood safety information can be found atwww.weather.gov/safety/flood.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
