In north central Minnesota, Itasca County. Innortheast Minnesota, Carlton and St. Louis Counties.* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT Tuesday.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Rises on creeks and streams.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 654 PM CDT Tuesday, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain dueto thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected tobegin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches ofrain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expectedover the area. This additional rain will result in minorflooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Cloquet, Big Sandy Lake, Mille Lacs Lake, Aitkin, Swan River,Hill City, Floodwood, Cotton, McGregor, Cromwell, Garrison,Warba, Toivola, Palisade, Brookston, Meadowlands, Tamarack,Libby and Savanna Portage State Park.- Flood safety information can be found atwww.weather.gov/safety/flood.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
