Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 18 at 4:31AM CDT until June 19 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.* WHERE...All south and east facing open shorelines of southeastLouisiana and Mississippi.* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Wednesday. Impacts will occur around thetime of high tide, which should occur between approximately 7 AMand 1 PM along the open coast.* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with onlyisolated road closures expected. Wednesday morning water couldcover several roads in the Shoreline Park area around Bay St.Louis, and could also encroach on low sections of Hwy 1between Port Fourchon and Grand Isle.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth.Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Thisincludes ground-level storage, which could be flooded in some ofthe lowest lying coastal areas.The Advisory may be upgraded to a warning in some areas,especially for Wednesday's high tide cycle.
