South central York County in southwestern Maine... Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire... Southeastern Strafford County in central New Hampshire... Southeastern Hillsborough County in southern New Hampshire... * Until 530 PM EDT. * At 442 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles south of Epsom to near Brookline, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Nashua, Derry, Portsmouth, Hampton, Durham, Exeter, Kittery, Salem, Dover, Barrington, Litchfield, Epping, Brentwood, Greenland, Raymond, Newington, Seabrook, Rye, Hudson, and Pelham. This includes the following highways... Interstate 93 between mile markers 0 and 15. Interstate 95 between mile markers 1 and 8. Interstate 95 in New Hampshire between mile markers 0 and 16. This also includes... Hampton Beach and York Beach. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
