Special Weather Statement issued June 14 at 1:29AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK At 128 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles south of Eldon to 3 miles east of Greenleaf State Park to 5 miles northwest of Porum to 2 miles southeast of Raiford to 4 miles north of Wewoka. Movement was south at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations in or near the path include... Muskogee... Tahlequah... Okemah... Eufaula... Henryetta... Fort Gibson... Checotah... Warner... Vian... Boley... Weleetka... Gore... Dewar... Porum... Webbers Falls... Schulter... Paden... Crowder... Whitefield... Oktaha... This includes Interstate 40 in Oklahoma between mile markers 212 and 295. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for southeastern, northeastern and east central Oklahoma.

In northeast Oklahoma, Mayes, Rogers and Wagoner. * WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1252 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Estimates of up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
