Flood Advisory issued September 22 at 3:45PM CDT until September 22 at 6:45PM CDT by NWS Norman OK* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of central Oklahoma, including the followingcounties, Northern Cleveland and Oklahoma.* WHEN...Until 645 PM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 344 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain havefallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected overthe area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Oklahoma City, Moore, Midwest City, Del City, Choctaw,Spencer, Nicoma Park, Valley Brook, Tinker Air Force Base,Forest Park, Smith Village and The Capitol.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
