THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ARKANSAS THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS BENTON CARROLL MADISON WASHINGTON AR IN OKLAHOMA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 13 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CHEROKEE IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ADAIR CRAIG DELAWARE MAYES NOWATA OSAGE OTTAWA PAWNEE ROGERS TULSA WAGONER WASHINGTON OK THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BARTLESVILLE, BENTONVILLE, BERRYVILLE, CLAREMORE, EUREKA SPRINGS, FAYETTEVILLE, GROVE, HUNTSVILLE, JAY, MIAMI, NOWATA, PAWHUSKA, PAWNEE, PRYOR, ROGERS, SPRINGDALE, STILWELL, TAHLEQUAH, TULSA, VINITA, AND WAGONER.

Special Weather Statement issued June 14 at 12:01AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK At 1201 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles east of Oologah to 4 miles west of Inola to near Coweta to 3 miles north of Okmulgee State Park to 2 miles southwest of Paden. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations in or near the path include... Tulsa... Broken Arrow... Muskogee... Claremore... Okmulgee... Wagoner... Bristow... Okemah... Pryor... Bixby... Jenks... Okfuskee... Glenpool... Coweta... Pryor Creek... Catoosa... Henryetta... Fort Gibson... Verdigris... Checotah... This includes the following highways, Interstate 40 in Oklahoma between mile markers 212 and 267. Interstate 44 between mile markers 189 and 194, and between mile markers 233 and 261. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for southeastern, northeastern and east central Oklahoma.

Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
