Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety andHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks inshaded or air conditioned environments. Flood Warning issued June 24 at 12:44PM CDT until June 25 at 12:45PM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...Portions of southwest Minnesota, including the followingcounties, Nobles and Rock and southeast South Dakota, includingthe following county, Minnehaha.* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT Tuesday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1238 PM CDT, emergency management reported that floodingfrom earlier heavy rainfall continues. Numerous county roadsremain under water near small creeks and poor drainage areas,although some areas have seen water recede. Between 3 and 10inches of rain had fallen late last week.- Flooding impacts will continue, but should continue to slowlyimprove. The chance for rainfall the next three days is low.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Sioux Falls, Worthington, Luverne, Brandon, Hartford, Crooks,Adrian, Garretson, Wall Lake, Baltic, Valley Springs, Colton,Hills, Humboldt, Brewster, Ellsworth, Leota, Round Lake,Rushmore and Wilmont.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
