Area creeks andstreams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are set to moveacross southeast Texas and central Louisiana today andFriday. Shortwave trof moving across northeast Texas willsend these rounds into a deeply moist airmass feeding rightoff the Gulf consisting of PWATs 1.60 to 2.00 inches.Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour will be possible andareas with ongoing flooding are urged to be mindful of veryswiftly exacerbated flooding conditions. Current forecastsindicate each line should move through the region ratherprogressively, move fairly progressively, however, anydeviation or slow-down of precipitation would possibly result in another 3 to 8inches of rain inside the flood watch area.
