Flood Watch issued April 28 at 3:39AM CDT until April 29 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties,Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller,Nevada, Sevier and Union, Louisiana, including the followingparishes, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Claiborne, De Soto,Grant, Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, RedRiver, Sabine, Union, Webster and Winn, southeast Oklahoma,including the following county, McCurtain, and Texas, includingthe following counties, Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee,Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola,Red River, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus,Upshur and Wood.* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Monday evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- A line of showers and thunderstorms will move into extremeSoutheast Oklahoma, adjacent sections of Southwest Arkansas,and Northeast Texas this morning, but should weaken laterthis morning. However, additional showers and thunderstormsare expected to redevelop this afternoon across these areas,before shifting slowly east northeast into SouthwestArkansas, Deep East Texas, and North Louisiana this eveningand overnight. Locally heavy rainfall is possible with thesestorms, this afternoon and tonight, with the heavy rainthreat shifting into Northcentral and Northeast LouisianaMonday morning. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches areexpected, with isolated higher amounts possible. It will then fall below flood stageTuesday morning.- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.Do not drive cars through flooded areas.The next statement will be issued Sunday afternoon at 345 PM CDT.
