Flood Warning issued May 16 at 10:22PM CDT until May 17 at 3:45AM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingcounties, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk and San Jacinto.* WHEN...Until 345 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roadsremain closed due to flooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1022 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rainhave fallen.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Cleveland, Livingston, Shepherd, Coldspring, Point Blank,Goodrich, North Cleveland, Lake Livingston State Park, WestLivingston, Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, Romayor, Rye,Tarkington Prairie, Segno and Evergreen.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. It will then fall tomorrow evening. It will riseto 27.5 feet Saturday morning.
