The Fire Weather Watch is no longerin effect.* Affected Area: Fire Weather Zone 702 Colville Reservation, FireWeather Zone 707 Western Columbia Basin, Fire Weather Zone 708Eastern Columbia Basin- Palouse- Spokane Area and Fire WeatherZone 709 Lower Palouse- Snake River.* Winds: Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.* Relative Humidities: 12 to 20 percent.* Impacts: Any new or existing fires will have the potential tospread rapidly.A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditionsare either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination ofstrong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures cancontribute to extreme fire behavior.
